As a visual artist, i paint abstracts, still life, car and home portraits and plein air landscapes in acrylic or watercolors.

I have been creating art since i was a small child (many children are small). My first painting was "Popeye the Sailor" with enamel paints on wood. My hobbies included building model cars, sketching cars, and racing….radio controlled cars.

I have participated in many exhibitions and am honorable mentioned and award winning. I have also done many solo shows, festivals, and commissions.

Art is an outlet from the everyday. It is relaxing and invigorating and In a world of being connected virtually 24/7, art gets me to a quieter, more serene place.

Love this! Reminds me when I was a kid and my dad had a TV repair business. Watching him fix the boards. I could never learn how the color bands on transistors identified them.

Oh man, too cool.

the texture doesn't worry me, i like having it, it's the absorbency and flexibility to lift color when needed. obviously it is not going to perform the same as paper.

I tried doing watercolor on canvas, did not like the result or how the paint took to the surface even after using watercolor ground. This looks great.

Thanks for the referral. Will be trying it out.

Always fabulous!
