Scott Mackenzie

Scott has been painting in various media since he was a kid. working in pastel and watercolor for many years. He currently works in oil and acrylic mainly.

He enjoys doing realistic work and this is where he feels most comfortable. He loves to have the viewers of his work take an extra moment to absorb all the tedious attention to detail he executes.

Painting on larger canvases and developing a looser style to his brush work has been his interest as well as widening his subject matter to include more of the photos he takes of the surrounding area he lives in.
