I work in oils specializing in narrative figurative realism. My aim is to capture and depict strength, beauty and vulnerability. To achieve I work with models all over the world inviting them to contribute to my artistic vision with their own creativity and professional experience. I strive to create beautiful scenes, embued with athmosphere and mood ranging from the romantic to the mundane and sometimes even bordering to the mystical. Light and emotion are essential components in my paintings and serves as the foundation for the narratives I'm telling. I'm not merely trying to depict reality, i'm actually trying to extract the underlying essence of how I perceive it and in a way, trying to transcend it.
