Katie Rubright

Katie Rubright is an American painter known for her darkly playful works attending to the problems that arise between people and their surroundings. Her paintings and drawings investigate the notion of freedom in anxious times, with a distinct preference for the outdoors. A born and raised Virginian working in Berkshire County, she studied at Hunter College and has participated in several group shows in New York City.
