I am a self-taught visual artist based in Atlanta, GA. I have worked as a visual arts and graphic design educator for six years, and am transitioning to my dream of creating full-time.
My undergraduate studies and early career were in mental health, which is often the subject or inspiration for much of my abstract work. I've always found myself fascinated with the dichotomy between inner and outer worlds, and the fine line between what is "real", what is perceived, and what is objectively true. My pieces about identity, blackness, and socioeconomic disparities come from a similar place of exploration and inquiry, primarily of what unites versus what divides us.
