The Battlecry
This is the first wolf I have ever drawn. I wanted to draw this wolf to capture it in a moment of its truest nature, when it howls to the sky. I titled it, "The Battlecry" because that is the way I interpreted it as the moment I saw the reference photo. And though it can be interpreted many different ways, this is the perspective I wanted to represent when viewers see the piece. The realism is exceptional, so much so that it looks and feels as if one can grab the fatty chest with the fur and run their hands through the thick coat. A truly lovely piece of art.

Thanks so much! It really does feel like you can run your fingers right through it.
