Comfort

I made this painting with Psalm 91 in mind. The Lord is my fortress. He will spread his wings over you and keep you secure. His faithfulness is like a shield. God will command his angels to protect you wherever you go. The dichotomy of the ever-present “Aboki” a Hausa word for “friend” is intentional. Hausas of Nigeria are mostly Moslems and including it in an obviously Christian piece gives us hope for tolerance and humanity.
