Letting go of paradise

For over a decade I dreamt of living on an island in the south of Brazil. When I finally realized that vision, my heart had never felt more alive. A few months later, I faced the ultimate paradox - stay in the place where my heart felt so connected, or be with the one I love in my home country. This painting is the feeling of loss...of letting go of my heart in paradise.
