"NIGHT AT THE STUDIO"

When I'm working, I'm not thinking discursively as one normally does. After it comes together, I reflect. While working, I was watching a long video on the painter, Francis Bacon, who I adore. I even included a pull-string for overhead lighting just like the one in Bacon's studio, which he includes in a number of his paintings. I also thought of Picasso, who, like me, loved painting at night and extolled its virtues for the special lighting it provided.
