As always, my artist curiosity led me to search the origin of the reference - 'Mother Earth'.

In Greek mythology "Gaia" (the first Goddess of earth) who created herself out of a primordial chaos, from her fertile womb all life sprang.

The Devine source of Terrestrial life.

Nature is life giving like a Mother.
