Fish Out of Water

In Chinese traditions a fish often represents prosperity. For me citrus fruit, fresh from the tree, perform the same function. Here, the fish leaps out of a beautiful silk "river" and meets the lemon and it's lush leaves. Prosperity, playfulness and purity of spirit (all the white).

The vodka fish is a treasure of mine from Russian consignment shops, which I adore to haunt.
