Wendy Seals

Wendy Seals is a mixed medium textile artist. She uses imperfect natural gemstones/geodes and repurposed fabric to create art that examines concepts of value and beauty. The work she has presented is a contemporary version of tapestry art. She embellishes the fabrics with these less than perfect gemstones/geodes to illustrate diverse ideas of beauty and value. Wendy has been creating a process for gemstone placement and as well as adhesion techniques since 2018 with over 80 different  gemstone illustrations. She has included mixed medium approach with sculpture attributes. Ms. Seals, in upcoming artwork, plans to add three dimensional element artwork to her portfolio of work. Wendy also has been creating abstract art on cardboard box material with an complex artist signature that resembles framed art. Jewelry piece artwork is a main theme for Wendy.
