Tanya Atanasova
is a Bulgarian born (1978°) realist artist, based in Belgium. She earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts from National Academy of Art (Sofia, Bulgaria, 2005) and complemented her studies with one year Erasmus-stay at Sint-Lucas Art Academy in Ghent, Belgium and a Master Class by artist Eloy Morales (Madrid, 2016).

Dedicated to big size non-traditional portraits, Tanya weaved her way through contemporary realism, working from her studio in Antwerp (Belgium). Her work has been shown in numerous group and solo exhibitions in galleries, museums and art fairs in Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, France, Spain, The Netherlands, USA and Canada and has been published in art blogs and magazines such as: Fine Art Connoisseur (USA), American Art Collector (USA), PoetsArtists (USA), BOOOOOOOM (USA), The Guide Artists (Spain), Artelibre (Spain), Clatia (China), Beautiful Bizarre Magazine (Australia), Ophelia Magazine (Argentina), 100% EXPO (Belgium), KunstWerkt (Belgium), Marike (Russia), Ar(t)moire (Italy), Hyperrealism Magazine (Spain)…
In 2021 Tanya founded the FiKVA Foundation, which aims to support figurative and representational arts.
