Haiku IV

I created this series of 5 mixed media works on paper inspired by the limited structure of haiku poetry. Each piece has only 7 elements of mark making, including collage. (A haiku poem has 3 lines with 5,7,5 syllables.) I liked the challenge of using only 7 marks which resulted in this colorful minimalist collection.
