Winter Grapevine

This wall sculpture is inspired by my time spent in the Napa, Sonoma and Temecula Valley. I was always enchanted with the beautiful, curvy and free flowing natural of the grapevines in the vineyard. It felt apropos to depict it using wine corks - thousands of them, all procured from wineries and all hand cut sometimes twice to achieve the textures and colors you see in the final product. This substantial piece took nearly 6 weeks start to finish including the handmade construction of the frame using poplar and plywood stained a rich walnut. All respectful offers welcomed!
