KISSING THE LIMITS

This exceptionally unusual and courageous image is based on the 1972 Indy 500, where driver Mike Mosley hit the wall and tried to bale out of his burning and still moving car. I have portrayed him running to relative safety.
NO other artist has ever been brave enough to depict the negative side of auto racing, but as my work continues to unashamedly push forward all boundaries, this 1973 image still manages to capture the minds of viewers.
