Pure Weight Of Today

Inspired by and created to the music of Scottish Indie rock band, Frightened Rabbit. I became fully immersed in the words, mood, and music which evoked several different emotions, sometimes all at once. As a result, the composition is fragments of thought and reaction. Areas of confusion, elation, and stubbornness seem to battle each other for attention. I’ve been painting to music since I started creating many years ago. This painting created to Frightened Rabbit is easily the most profound experience I’ve had yet.
