She is the Night

I love the combination of night and day in a single painting. I've also done a number of paintings now using the outline shape of a woman, filled with sky. I decided to do a twist on that, this time featuring a woman with long, blonde hair in a pinkish shirt, only her face and body have been replaced by a night time sky with a crescent moon and stars framed above several pine trees. It's a startling visual and the more I look at it, the more I like it. The title of the painting is rather dark and mysterious - just like many women I know!
