BLEW BLEU
BLEW BLEU 37.5 X 25.5”
Acrylic, repurposed mixed media, reclaimed cardboard ephemera newsprint recycled bag
BLEW BLEU is exhibited in the AVANT GARDE solo exhibition by J' Atelier9 at The Glenmark, co-curated with Kevin Briggs. The added vertical drips on each edge were added to coincide with the symmetry of the piece and represent our parallel universe, as the painting can be flipped outside down to appear similar, yet different.
BLEW BLEU is featured in Audience Askew Literary Journal.

BLEW BLEU (Bleu is also inspired by the Chanel composition) highlights a global world of ethnic & racial diversity. As recognized international brands can familiarize and unite us, racism & discrimination remain at the underbelly of global integration.. We witness unspoken racism from what began in the wet markets of Wuhan to genius breakthroughs in exclusive luxury fashion with Virgil Abloh at Louis Vuitton. Yet ultimately, we remain of one human race on the big blue planet.
