Where Do I Go

This is one of my favorite drawings because this is an emotion I like to depict, one or vulnerability, especially from great apes because they have a very expressive look on their faces, almost like they are thinking on a conscious levels like humans. I titled it, "Where Do I Go" because I wanted to represent this drawing as an interpretation of where this gorilla can go if he continues to inch toward extinction or to fight against the threat of his survival. This is a beautiful drawing and one that encompasses why I draw wildlife and that is so that I can make an emotional connection and build a bridge of understanding from to man to wildlife.
