Storm on the Hudson River #2

When it comes to painting the Hudson River Highlands during a rainstorm in the early Fall, there are a few things I keep in mind. First, I expect that the color will be muted, and brushstrokes should be loose and dry. Second, a tonal painting technique will be important in order to create the foggy atmosphere of the painting.
