The Virgin of Cape Cod I

It's acrylic on canvas, 60 x 40 inches (2-pieces, each 40 x 30 inches), 2022-09-25.

The painting is about a beautiful virgin who is beautiful but has aged while remaining a virgin. She doesn't want to hang out with the crabs, who are failures because they too are virgins. She is running away from the place once and for all, determined to find her future loved one, who is about to be eaten by a shark while swimming in the water. 

***It is a reflection of my own life and identity as a virgin***
