Driving in St. John

On our most recent trip to St. John, we rented a Jeep and drove to the most remote parts of the island where we had never been before. The roads are narrow with sharp curves and can be "scary," but some of the views are breathtaking. Since Hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the island in 2017, many of the palm trees and other vegetation are just ... gone. We saw some baby palms sprouting up out of some coconuts so, hopefully, the island, though still beautiful, will return to its former glory.
