Today, Saturday and Sunday, I'll post my fruit series, starting with "Big Banana". It's called "Big Banana" because it's big - 24" x 48". I decided to paint this one after creating a painting called "Food Face" where the banana served as a smiling mouth. I liked the banana so much, I decided to paint a big one. A little Velvet Underground reminder, done Pop Art Style.
