Stacy Seiler is a multi-disciplinary artist, journalist and design educator. In her artistic practice, Stacy layers and reconfigures abandoned 19th century photos and found objects as a means of piecing together the past and revealing the hidden narratives trapped within each lost identity. Stacy has received featured interviews in Drawing Magazine and the Boston Globe and her work has been exhibited in notable institutions, including: Sotheby's, CH, The Gould-Guggenheim Estate, Swiss General Consulate NY, The National Arts Club and The Painting Center. In addition to her art practice, Stacy is the Art Editor of IRK Magazine, Paris and an Assistant Professor of Design Strategies at Parsons School of Design. Stacy earned her BFA with a minor in Art History from the Maryland Institute College of Art and her MFA from Parsons.
