I am a Wildlife Charcoal artist from Los Angeles and I draw Wildlife to shed light on the plight of endangered species through fine art. I am a self-taught artist and have found favor with the charcoal medium and work in hyper-realism to bring out the true representation of the subject I am drawing so the viewers of my work can have a real experience with the subject of the portrait as opposed to just viewing a drawing. I try to exhibit my work where I can so that it can receive as much as attention as possible so that the brightest light is cast on my purpose of drawing hyper-realstic fine art portraits of endangered wildlife.

Have the finalists been selected?

Thank you so much for the comment! It does look like a photo, to say the least.

Is it too late to submit to the Pink Bison Competition? I just found the competition and began submitting 2 days ago and understand that those who submitted in the beginning of 2022 will have more votes than those who submitted late, so I'm wondering if those who submitted late get juried equally if they don't have as many votes because in the evnt that we found the competition at the late stages.

Thank you!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to you too!

Lol, forgive me, I thought it was a thought cut off, and yes, I checked out David Yarrow and it does have that feel, for sure! Lol.

Thanks so much! If you take a few tries at it, youll find it isn't as hard as it seems, of course it'll take a few tries like anything else.

Thank you so so much! I would very much love to work with them in any way I can. I'm sorry but for some reason I can't read the rest of the comment regarding the David Yarrow B&W aesthetic,, it just stops at aesthetic...I'd love to know what that is.

Thanks so much! It really does feel like you can run your fingers right through it.

Thank you so much!

I love the contrast of your piece.
