Hey You!

I was born and raised in India, and after an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering, I moved to the United States for a Masters in Finance. In all those years, painting had been my constant companion through the highs and lows. And my search for true fulfillment led to me becoming a full-time artist in 2018. Primarily painting in oils, I concentrated on figurative painting and portraits. Since becoming a mother in January 2019, the little human took center-stage and creating became even more important as I fought to have my own identity. I now paint with intention and am interested in telling a story with each painting. Stories of strength, courage and vulnerability! My oil painting education is the result of studying extensively from artists - Alyssa Monks, Zoey Frank, Peter Van Dyck, Sean Cheetham etc. I am most influenced and inspired by my mentor and teacher Mia Bergeron at Townsend Atelier in Chattanooga, TN. Currently, I live and work out of my home studio in Alpharetta, Georgia

John!! Thank you so so much for this beautifully written review! I’ve never had anyone review my work this way, so, I truly truly appreciate how well you’ve understood the essence of my painting and my intention. This means the world to me!

This is beautiful! Love the greens you’ve used!
