Ms. Greenwood  was awarded a public art commission by the Jacksonville Florida International Airport where her two permanent mosaic tile installations can be seen. She was a finalist for an MTA Arts in Transit project and more recently, a finalist for a public art project in Beijing, China titled, Half The Sky.

She is the recipient of numerous grants and awards including three grants from the NY State Council on the Arts, the Ludwig Vogelstein grant, a George Sugarman award and a NY Foundation for the Arts award. She also received a grant for the Artist Documentation Project from the National Center for Creative Aging: Art Cart, Saving The Legacy.
