Mthobisi Maphumulo

Mthobisi Maphumulo is a South African contemporary artist, born in 1988, September 8, at the Imfume Mission (South Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal) in Durban.

He is the founder of the Amasosha Art Movement, which is a vibrant collective of Durban Artists that promotes hard work, solidarity and the collaboration of ideas amongst artists. He is also a founder of an art project space called Rebirth art project ,located in the city. This project space hosts film screening, art residencies, art classes and art exhibitions.
