Louise Pittam

Louise is a self taught abstract artist from Fraserburgh Aberdeenshire. With a college background in graphic design and photography, Louise has always had a creative mind, but didn't find her true passion in painting until lockdown 2020, picking up a paintbrush for the first time merely as a hobby. This pass time quickly became a means of expression. Realeasing frustration and big feelings during the pandemic.

Describing her work as 'Energy on canvas', Louise paints intuitively. Relying heavily on metallic paints, monochrome brushstrokes, and textured surfaces, her mixed media approach conveys the mood and energy of her art.
