Laurie Stefano

I was born and raised in Southern California. I have always had an affinity to the beach and the Coastal lifestyle. After graduating from UCLA I spent over thirty years in the surf apparel industry as a product developer.

From an early age I have always enjoyed Arts and Crafts and creating with my hands. A few years ago I became fascinated by what I saw other artists creating and sharing on social media. As a result I felt compelled to develop and share my own artistic vision.

I am a fluid abstract artist working in acrylic, ink, watercolor and resin. You will notice elements of the beach and ocean in my color palette. I also love flowers so you will see bright color florals in my artwork as I draw inspiration from coastal flora viewed on my walkabouts in my little corner of the Southern California coast.

As I move closer toward finding my niche in the art world, it is my sincere hope that my art appeals to those who love the water, it´s creatures and plant life in and around our Mother Ocean.
