Juan Carranza

Juan Carranza was born and raised in Bilbao.  Later, he moved to San Sebastián where he remained for seven years until returning to Bilbao, where he lives today.

He mainly paints with oils, but he also draws with pencil, coloured pencils and pastels.  Lately, he is beginning to use acrylics for the entire painting or mixed with oils.

He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions and has also participated in several international art fairs.

He studied Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country.
