Jim Pearson

Jim Pearson was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana in 1946. He completed an MFA degree in Printmaking from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1979 where he studied with Rudy Pozzatti, Marvin Lowe and Wendy Calman. He retired in 2006 from Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana after teaching Printmaking and Drawing for twenty seven years. After retiring, he taught himself how to work with digital media. Since 2011, Jim has exhibited his limited edition, digital prints, photographs and photomontage prints in over 180 national and international juried exhibitions; winning several awards in these exhibitions. Jim received a Ford Foundation Grant for creative research in Printmaking and Painting. Mr. Pearson is represented by Gallerie Hertz in Louisville, Kentucky.
