" Native to the Rio Grande Valley and building a professional art career in his second home Houston since 2012. Emmanuel' s cultural work is interdisciplinary, and includes performance art, visual installations, sound, parties, street theater, earth works, environmental intervention, . I make both solo and collaborative performances that often address a social political issue. My work is informed by my own spiritual agency. thru ceremony; critical race analysis; queer theory; the social/politics of the body. I am interested in creating cultural work that is directly influenced by Set & Setting and aimed towards community building."
