David Hinds whimsical and boldly colored artworks are a happy result of his internal struggle in dealing with adversity. David started his full-time journey in visual art in 2015. David’s work was heavily influenced by local outsider artist George Colin. Pastels known for their vibrancy, were the media of choice and he quickly developed his own style, being very heavy handed in application and layering, a reality and depiction of his life. David is a painter of stories. Each having a wide appeal, including young and old alike. With hopeful understanding he moves forward, looking for the bright spot in the narrative.
