I am an experimenter at heart with an obsession over water in movement. I jump back and forth between and through my drawing, painting and sculpture. I've worked primarily with resins and water concepts in one form or another for the last 17 years, but my love for combining non-traditional, industrial materials with traditional art mediums started way back in college. Exploring outsider materials constantly takes my art into new directions because experimentation always brings with it ideas from observations. For me, the chasing of ideas and allowing myself to go down the rabbit hole to arrive finally to a fully formed concept is what thrills me the most. Its often in this process that I end up inventing processes and forms no one else does. The resulting work can be deceptively simple but is often very intricate and involved. It is this realm of the ethereal I like to dive in deep.
