b1973 Bran is an up and coming artist based in West London. His work was recently included in the Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition. Furthermore his work has been used on set within a major feature film production.
Bran works mostly in oil and charcoal focusing on studies of still life, portraiture and the human figure.
His work is representational but does include strong elements of abstraction. His approach ranges from pure alla prima to a more layered indirect approach. Hence in a number of pieces different stages of the process are evident providing a technical narrative through the work.
