Growing in my garden are flowers I planted to paint. I paint in the garden with the buzz of bees and birds enjoying the enhanced habitat. Plus a plethora of rescue animals that keep us company as we create. I paint to express the interconnectedness of our lives.

The plants produce oxygen and thrive on my carbon dioxide. That symbiosis fascinates me. Often in my oils of flowers you will see the edges of petals swirling with the air, fluttering on the breeze and of the breeze.

My current series of works involve elements of sunshine, earth, water and wind expressed in lively floral paintings of lush expressive brush strokes. Art collectors have told me that they enjoy putting the flowers up on their walls to bring the outdoors in and inspire them. I love that my paintings go to good homes and enhance their environments and life enjoyment!
