Abdallah Yaqub

Abdallah Omeiza Yaqub is a Nigerian visual artist. Drawing which is considered the oldest form of expression is my primary mode of expression throws me back to being that awkward school kid that barely speaks in class but would rather illustrate scenes in my note books with matchstick men and speech bubbles my friends will always relate to.

I enjoy painting my imaginations and ideas, even words that I feel I articulate my words properly when I paint them, that being said, I prefer my words in picture form.

I went on to study Agriculture, earning a BSc in 2014, I worked with a HMO from 2017 - 2021 even though I’ve been doing art on the side till I decided to take it up fully as a career.
