Women in Swimsuits

Because I am intending to paint joy, something I have personally been looking forward to finding throughout my journey, Women in Swimsuits is a series I need in my life as an artist. During my recent vacation in Long Branch, I enjoyed spending my days sketching women interacting among one another. I discovered the joy of just feeling the breeze without having any care for one’s body shape. In the beach, not only did I bravely wear my first pair of mini shorts, but also I clearly understood the pride of being myself in harmonic connection with the environment and people. Women in Swimsuits series showcases bravery beyond and above the bodies themselves. Most importantly, my paintings depict nothing else than entertainment and happiness.
