Pulped Fiction

You hardly ever see anyone lit from below. It’s unexpected and usually unflattering. The direction the light is coming from doesn’t make any naturalistic sense. I wanted to create the sensation of burning, as though the subject were sitting on top of a smoldering fire, which is why it becomes blue at the top.
