Once again, a great piece of photography turns into an oil on wood piece of art. Love the juxtaposition here of the imminent danger of the low-hanging clouds over and against the tall and beautiful color columns. It's beautiful danger. Or dangerously beautiful.

31x30x1.5 in. Oil on Walnut panel with a painted oak wood frame. The frame is dark blue on the outside rim, creamy white on the front, and a light pink on the small inside rim, next to the painting. It glows inside there as if the painting itself were emanating the color. This "feels" like the Bahamas, and is currently decorating our renovated front porch that includes a hanging bed, and various hangout and library items. It's winter now, too cold, so we're missing that area already. Favorite reading place.
