Plumage

There are birds here. These birds are metaphors of protection and comfort. Like a mother hen protects the chicks under her wings.  This neighborhood is not unlike a war zone tattered and feathered. There is a shadow-dance in this piece and to say that all through the shadow and gloom is pierced by sun and light as parted hope…lovely ruins!
