Butterfly Dreams

A woman is seemingly in flight over the ocean, with her body being made up of butterflies. More are flying in, others are flying out. The woman has no legs - in fact, upon closer inspection, she consists of only head, hair, arms and hands - the butterflies have flown in to form the shape of her body - but in some places, you can see right through to the water or sky. Surely, this must be a dream. And perhaps, it is the dream of the woman depicted in the painting. That is for the viewer to decide.
