Cold Fronting

This is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on canvas. This piece is a continuation into an exploration of streaking color and intense, tactile texture. This piece has lighter, more cheerful tones that almost jump off the canvas. It has a strong surface juxtaposition of smoothness and thick vibrant texture and color. The accents of color and texture in this piece give the feeling of depth in the form of a chasm or deep cracks in an icy surface. Note: This painting is painted on canvas and does not come framed, however the sides of the canvas are painted black and therefore framing is not necessary, but up to the collector's preference. It is hang ready.
