Lost in the World pt1.

This painting is part of a larger, on-going series titled “Lost In The World”. The artist has continued his approach of capturing real life situations and recent memories but has taken it one step further by painting the same motif over and over again. With “Lost In The World pt. 1”, we see an anonymous man sitting in his canoe in what looks like both a realistic and dream-like environment. Where is this place and what is this man thinking? His features aren’t defined and he hasn’t been given a mouth to ask his own questions. Is he dreaming or is he just confused?  This painting was created using oil, acrylic & pastel on canvas.
