Red Orange Paisley Batik

The Batik has been around for a long time, and there are many patterns throughout the world, but the paisley seems to come naturally to this art form, it seems. I've seen plenty of printed paisley patterns throughout the fabric and batik world. Well, this is only my 2nd Batik on paper now, and I'm really enjoying the results. Contrary to popular opinion online with other Batik artists, you CAN in fact scrunch up the paper to created the crackled effect. You just need to be careful around the edges.

In any case, offered up for you here, my RedOrange Paisley from January. One of 14 projects for the month. I'm going to make more of these. It is 13x19 in. Bristol Board, very tough stuff. No framing or matting yet. This can be shipped in a roll if you like.
