On the Dunes Again

I've been having some "painter's block" throughout the holidays. Some of my favorite things to paint are dunes, so I just forced myself to start painting and I like the results. -- I also try to do something a little different with each painting. This one started with a pink underpainting and drawing done in red. I tried to let some of the underpainting show through as well.

This was painted from a photograph I took and I was taken with the fact that the light seems to be coming from different directions. I guess the light was being reflected off the clouds.

This is a one-of-a-kind acrylic painting.
