River's Edge

I live on the coast of North Carolina between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Cape Fear River. My local art gallery hosted a plein air paintout - this was my finished product. As usual I had problems with my easel. When I first arrived, I set up the easel, set my canvas on it and started taking paint tubes out of my bag. A gust of wind came up and knocked the easel over and it broke! (Keep in mind that I threw away the last easel I used during my last plein air attempt). I ended up sitting on the ground! :-)

This is an acrylic painting finished with a satin varnish. This is a one of a kind artwork. I always sign my work on the back and usually on the front as well. You will receive a certificate of authenticity with your piece of art.
