Jungle In The Moonlight

This drawing was such a difficult one to undertake because of the detail in the face. I wanted to capture the glare of the Gorilla looking up in the moonlight to highlight a sense of being alone with the instincts of his survival. I intentionally kept the background black to make his face the focal point. This drawing captures everyone attention wherever it is exhibited.
